Main causes: 1. contamination or foreign particles jammed between plunger and barrel; 2. plunger bent or tilted after side force or oblique insertion; 3. excessive compression causing spring buckling or fatigue; 4. plating wear producing debris; 5. corrosion in humid or sweat environments.
Countermeasures: control insertion angle and compression in the design, add dust and sealing structures, choose proper plating thickness and run life testing. If a whole batch shows sticking, stop using it and return samples to us; we identify the cause and improve plating and tolerances.
